Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers were interested in adding Anderson this year during the season to fill the void that Blake Griffin had made. They wound up with Jeff Green, and while they traded a first-round pick for him, he only he has this year left on his deal.

Green has been fine, but it isn’t like he came in and was the solution. There is also the question of Griffin, and how awkward it may be to the players and staff that he missed so much time fighting a team manager and friend.

All year the talk is that the shooting four is in, and Griffin and Jordan were clogging at times and that a team sucha s the Golden State Warriors would expose that. If the Clippers do not get to see it first hand they may just cut ties in an urge to win with Chris Paul now.

They could bring back Green, sign Anderson and obviously be in store for another player, maybe a Carmelo Anthony if they pull the right strings. With all of those shooters, and DeAndre Jordan around him it isn’t a bad recipe to success.

Even if Griffin were to stay, they could certainly find a way to add Anderson with the upcoming money and a guy like Paul Pierce heading out. Anderson can rotate in with Griffin and Jordan, and those two can work down low while he does his thing to space the floor.

If they value Green a lot, it would come down to how much money Anderson would want. He could add to a strong team and potentially be a guy to put a team over the edge. He also could make more in some of the other scenarios.
