No. 3: Roddy White

Tensions are a little tight right now between Roddy White and the Falcons as they’ve just parted ways…but in time he will go down as one of the greatest to ever play in Atlanta.

Taken as the 27th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft out of UAB, Roddy became one of the league’s best wide receivers over a handful of years.

It took a couple of years to get him going, but once he did it was on. From 2007-2012 he posted six straight 1,000 yard receiving seasons. Twice he eclipsed the 100 catch mark, four times he made the Pro Bowl and he had 43 touchdown catches over that span.

Also during Roddy’s most productive years the Falcons experienced some of their biggest success. Four trips to the playoffs over that span including the 2012 NFC Championship Game.

While he faded off during his last three years in Atlanta, he is the franchise leader in receptions, yards and touchdowns receiving. He is currently a free agent.
