No. 5 – Phoenix Suns

Right now, the Suns are desperately looking for their next coach and have expanded their hunt to the college game, with reports surfacing of talks with Villanova head coach Jay Wright. Instead of talking to the Wildcats’ head man, Phoenix should be talking with another national champion from the 2015-16 season that has a history of winning rings.

For the most part, the Suns have a young group that isn’t as bad as their record may show. With players like Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and others, that youth could be just fine for someone like Auriemma, who only knows about dealing with players from the ages of 18 to 22.

It might also be nice for Auriemma to get out of his comfort zone in the Northeast and be like everyone else in their 60’s by making an effort to move to a warmer weather area. Auriemma needs to start thinking about life after basketball, and the dry air of Arizona would be a nice way to spend out his glory years once he decides that yelling at athletes is not his cup of tea anymore.
