These are the five NBA teams who should hit UConn’s Geno Auriemma as their next head coach.

When it comes to the conversation of who is the best coach in the history of sports, that name Geno Auriemma has to be in the discussion.

Tuesday night, the UConn Huskies women’s basketball head coach won his 11th national championship of all time (and fourth in a row) after the team’s blowout win over Syracuse.

For years, the debate has raged about whether Auriemma would be able to duplicate his success as a head coach for men’s basketball teams in college (as was the case with his former nemesis, longtime Tennessee women’s coach Pat Summitt).

As it turns out, Auriemma has higher hopes and would like to one day be a coach (either head or assistant) for a team in the NBA.

While there are many things playing against Auriemma that would likely keep him from making the jump (his age, a massive pay cut he would have to take to be an assistant), it wouldn’t be the worst idea and could actually help some teams out.

Here are the five NBA teams who could use Auriemma as their next head coach.
