1. 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls

Much like the 1986 Celtics, the 1996 Chicago Bulls were a super team before trying to form super teams was cool. Chicago finished the regular season with a 72-10 record. To put an exclamation point on their historic season, they went 15-3 during the postseason, beating the Seattle Supersonics to cement their legacy as the best NBA team of all-time.

Chicago was led by three Hall of Famers. The first was Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest player of all-time. Jordan averaged 30.4 points per game during the regular season, which led the entire league. He also averaged 6.6 rebounds per game, 2.2 steals per game, and 4.3 assists per game. Number 23 found a way to improve his play in the playoffs as he averaged 30.7 points per game when it mattered the most.

The second one? Scottie Pippen. If Jordan was Batman, Pippen was his Robin and his Alfred. Batman does not exist without those two figures. Jordan would not have been the best player ever had it not been for Pippen. Pippen made Jordan better. He averaged 19.4 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game, and 5.7 assists per game.

Dennis Rodman was the third. He was the wild card of the bunch. It is thought that he was like an unstable chemical concoction, ready to explode at any given moment. Jordan and Pippen ensured that his explosions were few and far between. Rodman set the tone defensively for the Bulls with 14.9 rebounds per game, which led the NBA that season. He was named the Defensive Player of the Year for his efforts.
