4. Rekindle the feud with Bray Wyatt

As noted, John Cena assisted The Rock in taking out The Wyatt Family at WrestleMania 32. With no follow-up to this, it would seem nothing is going to happen between any of these three Superstars,

However, what if Cena and Wyatt use this as a way of rekindling their feud?

In early 2014, the former Doctor of Thuganomics and the Eater of Worlds had a feud that lasted from WrestleMania XXX through WWE Payback. Cena would end up walking out of the feud victorious after winning their last match at Payback.

Since then, Wyatt has been in a bit of a tailspin. While he has worked with top names like Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and The Undertaker, the big win just hasn’t been there that’s needed for his career to take off. So, why not get revenge on Cena for being the man who destroyed him years earlier?

Yes, the Cult-like Leader did just turn babyface a few weeks ago. However, an injury just one week into this has stalled his momentum. It even ended the planned feud with The League of Nations. Therefore, the need to bring back Wyatt as a babyface isn’t strong. Heels are also badly needed in the WWE right now.

So when Cena returns on Memorial Day, he could come out to cut a promo. When he’s in the middle of doing his shtick, the lights could go out and The Wyatt Family could appear on the apron surrounding Cena. They could beat him down with Bray finishing him off with Sister Abigail to restart a feud that was pretty good in 2014. The return at the end of May would also go along with reports of Wyatt’s six-week timetable to come back from a calf injury.
