NFC North

Chicago Bears: B+

The selection of Leonard Floyd is a bit of a gamble, with Floyd projected to go later in the first. After that, Chicago general manager Ryan Pace hit his stride. Pace nabbed guard Cody Whitehair in the second round before landing defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard in the third. All three of these guys will start and could be nice finds for a team on the rise.

Detroit Lions: B

Detroit didn’t make any splash picks, and that is a good thing. The Lions have reached far too many times in the past but did a nice job of letting the board come to them in 2016. Taylor Decker is a mountain and should anchor one of the tackle spots while A’Shawn Robinson is a steal in the second round. Detroit also did well adding Miles Killebrew in the middle rounds.

Green Bay Packers: C

This is a questionable draft by general manager Ted Thompson. The Packers reached in the first round for defensive tackle Kenny Clark before finding some decent value in offensive tackle Jason Spriggs. The rest of the picks look to be depth for the foreseeable future, with Blake Martinez perhaps emerging as a steal in the middle rounds.

Minnesota Vikings: B+

The Vikings absolutely crushed the first two rounds of the draft. General manager Rick Spielman landed Laquon Treadwell in the first round before getting corner Mackensie Alexander out of Clemson. Both project to be starters in 2016 for the defending NFC North champs. Also, Mortiz Boehringer could be a huge get in the sixth round.
