5. Dan Straily-Cincinnati Reds (1.2%)

Straily is a high-risk flier today as he faces the Giants, but he has looked pretty good in his three starts since joining the rotation.  The Reds are looking to avoid a sweep at Great American Ballpark this afternoon, so hopefully Straily can come through with another good outing for them and for his fantasy owners today.

In his three starts, Straily is 0-1 but has allowed three runs or fewer in each start.  He went six innings in his last outing needing just 91 pitches to post a quality start allowing five hits and two runs to the Pirates in Pittsburgh.  He matched his season-high with five strikeouts in that outing and has posted five K’s in each of his last two starts.

While the Giants have dominated the series so far, their offense is still a solid matchup to attack, so give Straily a look as he takes the mound this afternoon.  He’s almost universally available, and I think he can give you some solid innings and strikeouts today even though the Reds lineup hasn’t been a great source of run support so far this season.
