Ivica Zubac. 23. player. 18. Zubac certainly hasn’t had the 2015/16 season he had hoped for when it began. He finished this year having played for three different teams due to financial instability and teams not giving him playing time – such is life in international hoops from time to time.
Having said that, Zubac is 7-1 and only 19-years old. He’s got amazing footwork, decent mobility for someone his size, is a solid rim protector, and has an array of post moves in his back pocket. The Celtics have three first round picks and after nabbing Ben Simmons and Denzel Valentine, this is more of a draft-and-stash type of move. They may even package this pick with some of their early second rounders to move up and grab a guy like Juan Hernangomez instead.

Danny Ainge and his front office have a lot of options with eight picks in this draft. Zubac could simply be dangled as a trade chip or they could decide to keep him stashed for future seasons as he’s a solid young center. At only 19-years old he’s not ready to contribute right away in the NBA, especially for a playoff team with championship aspirations like the Boston Celtics. However keep an eye on him as he could go even earlier than No. 23.

To read more about Ivica Zubac,<a href=. C. KK Mega Vizura
