player. 81.
The biggest position of need for Toronto is power forward and the Raptors have an opportunity to grab one of the highest upside bigs in the draft with the ninth pick.

After entering the 2015-16 college basketball season as one of the country’s most hyped recruits, Skal Labissiere failed to live up to expectations during his lone year at Kentucky. The 20-year old power forward played just 15.8 minutes per game and averaged a measly 6.6 points and 3.1 rebounds. However, he remains one of the most talented players in the class because of his size, mobility, and shooting stroke.

In front of numerous media members, Labissiere wowed during an individual workout at the draft combine. That shouldn’t be a surprise as he is an excellent shooter with definite 15-18 foot range and the potential to develop an NBA three-point shot. He also has an array of post moves, including an impressive hook shot with either hand.

The question for Labissiere is whether or not he’ll be able to adapt to the physical style of play at the next level. At 6-11, he’s still just 215 pounds and his failure to play with the tenacity required to contribute in high-major hoops was a key reason that he found himself on the bench in Lexington. If Labissiere can pull it together, though, he has a high upside as a stretch power forward who can also help protect the rim defensively.

To read more about Skal Labissiere, <a href=. PF.
