Natasha Howard gets the “friendly bounce” for the Minnesota Lynx
By Ryne Prinz
The WNBA season kicked off over the weekend, and with more basketball comes more Friendly Bounces.
Natasha Howard is in her third season in the league. After spending her first two seasons with the Indiana Fever, and making it to the WNBA Finals last year, Howard was acquired by the defending champion Minnesota Lynx in a sign-and-trade over the offseason.
Natasha has mostly played in a reserve role over her career and will provide a handful of points and rebounds for the Lynx off the bench.
Two of her points from Monday’s game against the Sky came with a little help from the rim.
Howard caught the ball in the mid-post with MVP Elena Delle Donne closing out. She shot the ball, which hit the back of the rim, then the front of the rim, then the back board and finally the rim a couple more times for good measure.
