3. Pat Riley is running the show

There are very few men that have had the success around the league that Pat Riley has had. Whether it was as a coach or executive, Riley was all about building championship rosters and winning plenty of them.

In Miami, he has already helped bring three championships to the franchise and he’s doing a great job of transitioning the roster and putting the pieces in place to bring a fourth title to the team.

What he needs to put the Heat in contention for that next championship is one more superstar and it’s clear that Durant would be the perfect guy for the role. With a guy like Riley around, it would be hard for Durant to say no to any offer that he puts forward.

Riley is a man that is true to his word and knows what he is doing better than anyone else in the league. It’s one thing to have a team make plenty of promises to a guy like Durant, but when a guy like Riley is making those promises, then Durant knows that he’s getting the real deal.

The slicked-back hair of Riley carries plenty of weight and Durant should be very excited about seeing what he has to offer.
