9. Chicago Bears

For my money, there is no more awe-inspiring stadium than Soldier Field, the home of the Chicago Bears. The 1920s stadium was redesigned in 2003 which put a really neat modern touch inside the historical walls and entrance. It feels almost like entering a coliseum, but there are still modern comforts, including the beautiful glass structure rising from the aged brick entrance.

On the grass itself, the team has done the same to the uniforms, adding small touches to keep the uniform clean and appealing, while paying homage to the past. The color scheme stays true to the history of their look, and they even have the initials of their founder, George Halas, on the sleeve. The initials were added in 1983, after the man nicknamed “Papa Bear” passed away.

The helmet is synonymous with the team and changing it would probably incite a riot. A simple dark blue with the orange C needs no changing and their home jersey’s with the blue on top of the white pants is a great look.

Thankfully, the orange alternate jersey didn’t stay, as this color is much better used to make the uniform “pop” than as a main color. That look may have been one of the few hiccups in the long history of the Bears, a team that dates back to the 1920s.
