Did Dahntay Jones cheap shot Bismack Biyombo in the gonads? (Video)

Did Dahnty Jones cheap shot Bismask Biyombo at the end of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals?

We may or may not (probably not) saw Toronto make a series out of the Conference Finals showdown with the Cavaliers on Saturday in Game 3. Bismack Biyombo had himself a game and the Raptors took a bite out of the series lead Cleveland still has.

But regardless of whether or not you want to overreact about a team that rolled over twice and a half in this series before turning gone the burners, things got testy as hell on Saturday night. One of the lowest moments of the night came late int he fourth quarter when Bismack was seemingly cheap shotted by Dahnty Jones.

Here’s the play in question, so you be the judge:

Of course, the case for incidental contact can and will be made by the Cavaliers. But the NBA is more than likely going to take a look at the physicality of this series and how chippy things got throughout the contest.

The fact that Bismack had himself the type of game he did, and then to have him get cheap shotted when the game was beyond the reach of the Cavs, is fishy.

We’re not saying that Jones intentionally went at Bismack’s gonads, but the case is certainly there for anyone who wants to make it.

We’ll see how things play out in Game 4.
