3. Dion Waiters and Big Sean

Look at the production of these guys and you would be surprised by their draft position. Current Thunder guard Waiters was drafted fourth overall by the Cavaliers in 2012 while Big Sean signed with Kanye West’s GOOD Music in 2007 as an early prodigy.

Since then both have become jokes. Waiters for his inability to play within the flow of the game without taking things off the tracks and Big Sean for his inability to rap over a beat.

Waiters has a knack for putting up bad shots and trying to take over games despite a lack of evidence he can effectively do so. But he carries himself as the best thing since sliced bread–with an absolute, unwavering confidence. But surrounded by guys like LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook throughout his career, maybe he feels like he belongs to the club.

Big Sean, surrounded by likes of West, Ty Dolla Sign, DJ Mustard, Drake and Travis Scott maybe thinks he belongs to the club. I mean, he does. They see something in him, I guess. I just don’t know what, exactly.

Maybe both have started on the road to redemption, with Waiters playing his best ball of his career in these playoffs for the Thunder and Big Sean’s 2015 record Dark Sky Paradise which took home the BET Hip Hop Awards’ Album of the Year.
