100.
If it weren’t for his size, Kentucky’s Tyler Ulis would be a much higher pick in June’s NBA draft, but since the Wildcats’ guard is a mere 5-10 in shoes, the likelihood that he develops into an All-Star at the next level is incredibly low. Just two players Ulis’s size have made the All-Star Game in the history of the league. However, it’s hard to imagine the Chicago native failing to become a productive player in the NBA.

Ulis was one of the best floor generals in college basketball last season. He was the primary ball-handler on a top-five offense and averaged 7.6 assists per 40 minutes for the Wildcats. He is excellent at probing the defense and despite his small stature is capable of challenging opposing shot blockers with a nice floater in the lane. His three-point shooting stats dropped off this season as his attempts nearly doubled, but he still managed to knock down 37.1 percent of his outside shots in college.

Ulis was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2015-16, but because of his size, it’s not clear how well his defense will translate. He has good hands and is excellent pressuring the ball, but the strength of NBA guards may overwhelm him on that end.

While Ulis doesn’t have the upside of players like Kris Dunn and Wade Baldwin, he’s an incredibly competent player who should be able to carve out a regular role for himself in the league.
