The Bulls should definitely be looking at Murray and what he brings to the table being essentially what this team is looking for. Murray is long at 6’5″ but can also handle the ball as a point guard.

In the immediate future he would be coming in off of the bench and would more than likely be a guy that makes it tough to want to retain Brooks. They can let him run the second unit next to Tony Snell and they can see how high his ceiling is.

In the long term, Murray is only 19-years old and seems to have a decently high ceiling. He averaged 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists as a freshman, and has the length and the upside to potentially be a starting point guard in the NBA.

He doesnt’t have a shot yet, and he sometimes becomes a victim of too many turnovers, but there is a lot to like about him, especially his youth. It would be tough to say that he would make them feel more comfortable about moving on from Derrick Rose, but from a depth and need stand point he fits perfectly, and should be able to fit Hoibergs system.
