9. player. 55. . Head Coach. Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike Tomlin

Mike Tomlin has arguably the most explosive offense at his disposal with the 2016 Pittsburgh Steelers. He has won a Super Bowl and been to another as the Steelers head coach since taking over for Bill Cowher.

Pittsburgh has only had three head coaches in over 40 years (Tomlin, Cowher, Chuck Noll), but there is growing concern that Tomlin may not be able to last as long in the Steel City as did Cowher or Noll.

Yes, there isn’t a football culture quite as great as what the Steelers have under the Rooney Family. Pittsburgh is never bad, has won more Super Bowls (six) than anybody, and usually does a fantastic job in extracting value with their mid-round draft picks.

That being said, Tomlin doesn’t always make the best in-game decisions, frequently going with his gut and failing because of it in crucial late game situations. Pittsburgh should contend for an AFC North crown with rival Cincinnati. The better of those two rivals this year should be able to play for an AFC Championship this winter.

Pittsburgh doesn’t have to win a playoff game for Tomlin to keep his job, but if he again gaffs late in the season with poor in-game managerial decisions, then maybe the Rooneys will have had enough of Tomlin’s questionable decision making.
