Texas Tech vs Florida live stream: Watch College World Series online
Texas Tech Red Raiders vs Florida Gators
Without question, the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament has largely been defined by the underdogs and their success. That’s why only three of the eight national seeds made it into one of the eight slots in Omaha for the College World Series. However, two of those national seeds face elimination from the College World Series on Tuesday afternoon as the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the No. 1 overall seed in the Florida Gators will take the field to do battle after both lost their first game at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.
Obviously this isn’t an ideal position for either team given that they both will now need four consecutive wins to reach the College World Series Final. However the real task will be both teams getting back to what got them here. For Florida, that would mean Alex Faedo being dominant on the mound and the Gators offense finding enough life to where Faedo can breathe. For Texas Tech, they need to find a way to get their bats working against a great pitching staff if they wish to stay alive in Omaha.
