29. The San Antonio Spurs have this wild reputation for finding late round gems and this could add to their lore as Brice Johnson should be in the early 20s by all accounts. Johnson played all four seasons at North Carolina and his senior year was exemplary as he finished with averages of 16.9 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks for coach Roy Williams.

The Tar Heels came up just short of a National Title, but Johnson really stepped up and proved a lot of his critics wrong in 2015-16. Everyone knew he had freakish athleticism for a power forward, but along with highlight dunks and blocks, he was able to add a consistent 15-18 foot jumper to his arsenal. The major concerns with Johnson were his ability to guard other post players and he silenced those concerns a bit this year as well, displaying the ability to play solid defense and not be a liability for his club on that end.

The Spurs have LaMarcus Aldridge as their starting power forward and Johnson could really benefit from learning directly from a pro like LMA. He can also pick the brain of Coach Pop and hopefully get in his good graces and earn some garbage time minutes from time to time.
