3. Sixers fans’ sign reads: “HINKIE DIED FOR YOUR SINS”

The Sixers drafted Ben Simmons first overall in the 2016 NBA Draft to add him to a team that has Jahlil Okafor, Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid, for now. The Sixers have been openly shopping Okafor and Noel. The Sixers have been at the bottom of the NBA for the past few seasons which gives them a mixed review from the fans. Some trust the process while others want to win now.

The fan at the draft clearly believes in the process and was a believer in Sam Hinkie. Sam Hinkie recently stepped down as general manager of the Sixers. But is the fan right? Hinkie was the one who acquired these picks in this year’s draft and he was the one who drafted all of their young talent that they are trying to trade away

Let’s not forget they traded away Michael Carter Williams after winning NBA Rookie of the Year.

I can not imagine many Sixers fans agreeing with this sign after the years they have had, but one man certainly believes that all this suffering will pay off in the end and they will find light at the end of the tunnel.
