2. Kris Dunn being drafted after hard road

Kris Dunn was selected fifth overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves and will join forces with Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony-Town to try and bring basketball back in Minnesota.

The road Dunn faced to get to this point was not an easy one. e had to deal with being separated from his father and having his mother being in and out of jail. While at Providence, Dunn received sudden news that his mother had passed away.

Dunn was brought to tears after being drafted. When asked how it felt he said ” Probably one of the best feelings ever. Supporting my family, my mom, she passed away, I know she’s looking up at me. I mean, I’m doing this for my city and everybody that got support for me. I love everybody, man.”

Who will be able to forget that heart wrenching story that Dunn told. He enters the NBA with passion for the game and motivation to do great things, not only for himself but for his family.
