High Value OF

Lorenzo Cain-Kansas City Royals (3,100): Cain and the Royals tangle with Adam Wainwright tonight in their first game against the Cardinals.  Cain is coming in with a little bit of steam after going 5-9 in the last two games of the Royals’ series against the Astros with a pair of doubles. He now has at least 12 fantasy points in five of his last ten games which is a decent return from this affordable price point especially since he’s in the middle of a good lineup.

Angel Pagan-San Francisco Giants (2,900): Pagan had a big weekend against the Phillies going a combined 8-13 in the three games with four RBI, three doubles, three runs scored, and a stolen base.  He has looked strong since returning from the DL and has hit safely in seven straight games coming into tonight’s game against the cross-town A’s.∗∗∗

Brandon Barnes-Colorado Rockies (2,600): Barnes is sharing time in LF with Ryan Raburn while Gerardo Parra recovers from his ankle injury. Barnes has gotten more of the playing time and has hit safely in four straight games going 6-15 with a double and five runs scored.  Anyone in the starting lineup for the Rockies-Blue Jays is worth a look, and Barnes could be a great value at under 3K if he gets the nod again tonight. ∗∗

Michael Bourn-Arizona Diamondbacks (2,500): Bourn had a great series in Colorado going 2-5 in each of the last three games with three doubles and a homer along with three stolen bases. He posted 27.7, 31.7, and 18.2 fantasy points in those three games and will look to keep his momentum going as he comes home and takes on the Phillies. If he hits #2 again tonight at Chase Field, Bourn is a nice value play in a good matchup.
