High Salary OF

Charlie Blackmon-Colorado Rockies (4,400): Blackmon and the Rockies are again in Denver which always makes them worth considering.  Blackmon has been nice and hot on this homestand as well which should set him up for more production tonight against the Blue Jays.

Blackmon has collected multiple hits in six of his last seven games while going 14-33 with a double, five homers, nine RBI, and eight runs scored.  He has at least 24 fantasy points in four of those seven games and is a great play to produce at home again tonight. ∗∗∗

Mookie Betts-Boston Red Sox (4,200): Betts has been heating up lately too, although not to the level where Blackmon has been.  He has multiple hits in four of his last five with a double, a homer, and a stolen base.  He continues to hit atop a solid Red Sox lineup that should produce some good fantasy points tonight in Tampa making him a solid play even if he doesn’t have the crazy-high upside of rolling with Blackmon.

Ezequiel Carrera-Toronto Blue Jays (3,800): Carrera is helping fill in for the injured Jose Bautista and will likely return to his #2 slot in the Blue Jays order after getting yesterday off. Carrera  went 4-13 in his last three starts  and as the Jays face the Rockies in Denver, he’s a nice play once again if he’s batting in front of the meat of the Toronto lineup.

Khris Davis-Oakland Athletics (3,600): Davis is a boom-or-bust play as evidenced by his 18 homers and 50 RBI in 69 games but also by his .246 batting average.  Davies has hit safely in each of his last four games going 6-17 with a pair of long balls and five RBI.  He’ll face Jeff Samardzija tonight as the A’s cross the Bay to face the Giants.

Matt Holliday-St. Louis Cardinals (3,500): Holliday went 3-6 yesterday against the Mariners with a double and his 14th homer of the season. He should be in the lineup this wee in KC especially with the DH role as a possibility.  He and the Cards face lefty Danny Duffy tonight which makes him an interesting mid-range play.

Stephen Piscotty-St. Louis Cardinals (3,300): Piscotty is one of the few Cardinals hitters who like stop see a lefty on the probable pitcher line like Danny Duffy is tonight in Kansas City.  Piscotty is 24-63 (.381) against lefties on the season and has a crazy 1.173 OPS against them since three of his eight homers have come when taking on a southpaw.  He has cooled off this month after a torrid May, but I still like him to be a good play in this matchup tonight. ∗∗∗

Shin-soo Choo-Texas Rangers (3,300): Choo has been solid since returning form the DL and is showing signs he’s starting to heat things up to the next level.  Choo went 6-14 against the Red Sox this weekend with a double and a homer.  He had his best day yesterday going 3-4 with a double and two runs scored. Tonight, if the weather holds, he’ll be in a good matchup against the Yankees at Yankee Stadium.
