4. Boston Celtics

We already know that the Boston Celtics are going to be one of the teams that has a chance at landing Kevin Durant in free agency. However, should he choose not to go to Boston, it is likely the Celtics will then turn their attention to Al Horford.

There were rumors at the trade deadline that the Celtics were considering acquiring Horford, but the cost was way too high. Now, the Celtics can work on luring him as a free agent and he will be one of the best free agent scenarios that could happen for them.

He would fit like a glove under Brad Stevens in Boston and the Celtics would add another two-way player to their roster that could add offense and defense. Danny Ainge has assembled a bit of a strange asset-filled roster at the moment, but the pieces are starting to fall into place a little bit.

Adding a guy like Horford to their roster takes the Celtics from a team that gets bounced in a decent playoff run to a team that is going to make the Eastern Conference Finals and contend with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the conference crown if their young players take that next step.

This could be the perfect match.
