3. Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets are going to lose Dwight Howard to another team in free agency and quite frankly, it’s the best thing for him as he’s not going to fit in with what new head coach Mike D’Antoni wants to do with the Rockets’ roster.

However, the Rockets are going to have a void to fill up front with the departure of Howard. The team currently has Clint Capela, but they’re going to be listening in on big men that are available in free agency and if they’re lucky, they’ll be able to talk to Horford.

Horford is versatile enough and can shoot the ball enough that he can fit in with what the Rockets are trying to do on offense. More importantly, he doesn’t come in with an inflated ego and he won’t clash with James Harden on the floor.

More than anything, the Rockets need to add some leaders to their roster that can raise the chemistry. If they are lucky enough to add Horford they are going to get a great player and a better person in the locker room.

The Rockets shouldn’t kid themselves and think they can land Kevin Durant, they need to go after Horford first.
