Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers have considered the Reds’ slugging outfielder as of late. They have dealt with injuries and players not reaching expectations all season. Andre Ethier has missed time with a right tibia fracture, and Yasiel Puig has yet to reach the star status he teased as a rookie.

Currently, Joc Pederson is the only left-handed outfield bat on the roster. They have a few young talented outfielders, including Puig and Trayce Thompson. Bruce can be a needed veteran presence in the outfield that can help these young players produce.

The Dodgers will need some help to catch the red hot Giants. They sit at 44-37, which is 5.5 games back in the NL West. With Kershaw landing on the 15-day DL right before the All-Star break, they do not know how he will react to this injury, and can use a spark.

While Bruce is unlikely to land in L.A., he would fit in perfectly on this team, one not afraid to spend money and in need of some help if it is going to contend in the playoffs.
