5 reasons Dwyane Wade should sign with the Denver Nuggets

It wouldn’t be as much of a rebuild as you might think
It’s easy to look at the Nuggets’ 63 wins over the last two seasons and see a rebuilding project that Dwyane Wade should want no part of over the final stage of his career. Dig a little deeper, though, and you’ll see plenty of nice pieces just waiting for a star to galvanize them.
Denver has young talent in the backcourt, like second-year pro Emmanuel Mudiay and rookie Jamal Murray. Will Barton can fly and has turned into a reliable scoring option off the bench. And the Nuggets boast not one, but two promising young bigs in Nikola Jokic and Jusef Nurkic.
This is not a roster in shambles a la the Philadelphia 76ers of the last few years, but one that is simply missing a few pieces before it makes a big leap forward. No one is suggesting that simply adding Wade turns the Nuggets into title contenders, but he certainly would accelerate their timeline dramatically.
