4. Los Angeles Dodgers

Ace pitcher Clayton Kershaw is the best starting pitcher in all of baseball. That being said, the pieces the Los Angeles Dodgers have behind him in the rotation are less than impressive.

While the returns of Hyun-Jin Ryu and Brandon McCarthy from injury will certainly help, I doubt that the Dodgers’ addition of Bud Norris is their only move to be made to the starting rotation. The need for depth is not as huge as it once was, but the Dodgers will be looking for impact starting pitchers.

With his performance this season and late last year, Hill could be that impact starter that the Dodgers have been looking for.

Also, similar as with the Astros, the Dodgers have plenty of interesting minor league pieces who would make sense for the A’s, particularly impressive young pitching prospects.

The Dodgers trail the San Francisco Giants by 6.5 games in the National League West, but they undoubtedly have the talent and upside to make a strong post season run. If they want to make a big play this season, Hill would be a perfect addition to their starting staff.
