The 2013 San Antonio Spurs never wanted to be remembered by media or fans. In total Spurs fashion, San Antonio quietly dominated on the floor all season while not allowing anyone a glimpse into their off court personalities. As it turns out that was something that should be considered devastating at this point, because that group of Spurs is clearly one of the most entertaining rosters the league has ever put together off the court.

More from NBA

It all starts with the wonderful friendship between two of the NBA’s most likable players in Boris Diaw and Manu Ginobili. All offseason Manu has tweeted about how much he misses his friend Boris, who now is a member of the Utah Jazz, culminating in Manu getting rights to Boris’ coffee maker that was left in San Antonio. On Monday the two were finally able to get together in person during their preparation for the upcoming Olympics.

But Manu being Manu couldn’t help but be upset because two other members of the 2013 Spurs, Tiago Splitter and Patty Mills, could not be around to join in the fun. Luckily, the two were at least together to soften the blow for all four friends.

This exchange brings about three very important questions. First, did Diaw get every member of that roster drinking coffee? Second, what exactly does Tiago mean about missing high school layups? Is it an inside joke the team had? Who was it directed too? I really want to know this.

Finally, and most importantly, how can we retroactively go back and make sure a documentary on that Spurs locker room gets made? We need this as basketball fans and really as civilized people. Someone needs to make it happen.
