4. Cincinnati Reds

The Cincinnati Reds have a history rich in World Series wins, and legendary players. Recently the Reds have fallen on hard times, and current manager Bryan Price always seems to be in the newspapers for the wrong reasons. The bottom line is they are not winning, and Price could be out the door after this season.

The Reds are also a franchise who believes in second chances, as evident by the way they have treated former star Pete Rose in recent years. The team made sure he was apart of the All-Star Game festivities when the Reds hosted the Midsummer Classic in 2014. The organization saw what Rose did for the franchise, and despite him being banned from Major League Baseball, they always seem to honor him whenever they can.

Alex Rodriguez’s drug use has ruined his legacy, and like Rose, will likely never be in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. However, the Reds are one of a handful of organizations that could I could see giving him a chance as a manager. Handing Rodriguez the reigns would be the ultimate second chance, and Cincinnati could be the one to do it.

Cincinnati is definitely a reclamation project, and a baseball mind like Rodriguez might be what the doctor ordered.
