15. Trent Taylor – Louisiana Tech

He may not play in a power conference and he might not be the biggest guy, but Trent Taylor is one of the best in the nation. At 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds, his size can work against him, but Taylor usually comes out with the advantage. He’s a receptions machine and he also finds his way to the end zone often for Louisiana Tech.

in 2015, the Bulldogs had one of the most explosive offenses in the nation. While their quarterback, Jeff Driskel, along with other key players on the team were drafted, there should still be some semblance of explosiveness left. That means that Taylor is going to have to step up big for the Bulldogs to have success this season.

For the hardcore football fans, this is a player to watch in a non-power conference this year. He will ultimately draw comparisons to some of the better slot and speed receivers in the NFL, but he will have his own chance to make a name for himself.

So, when watching Lousiana Tech, expect Taylor to put up big numbers. The watch will be on to see how he does without Driskel, but he should be the offense’s top option.
