11. Gehrig Dieter – Alabama

The rich continue to get richer in Tuscaloosa. Despite the fact that the Alabama Crimson Tide lost a ton of talent to the NFL Draft, they continue to replenish through great recruiting classes and good transfers. That’s the case with Gehrig Dieter.

Joining an impressive list of weapons like Calvin Ridley and O.J. Howard, Dieter will have a chance to excel for the Crimson Tide. In 2015, Dieter dominated the MAC with Bowling Green and finished with over 1,000 yards and double-digit touchdowns. The fact that Alabama gets to add that type of production to their strong offense should be almost criminal.

It just means that now he’s going to play in the big time in the SEC and show that he’s the real deal. He won’t need the same adjustment period as a freshman coming in out of high school and the fact that he is a senior provides him with plenty of experience.

He might not put up as high of numbers, just because there’s only so many touches to go around, but he should be much improved under Lane Kiffin’s offense. When Ridley and Howard are being shadowed by double teams, Dieter will be the man that they turn to.
