9. Travis Rudolph – Florida State

When it comes to Florida State football, the game plan is quite simple — get Dalvin Cook the ball. When one of the best running backs in the nation is carrying the ball for your team, it makes the job easier for everyone else. Travis Rudolph is one of those players that benefits from having a strong running back lined up on the same side of the ball as him.

In 2016, Rudolph should be once again a heavy target on offense. He flashed his potential in 2015 and really had a nice year for the Seminoles. It’s hard to say if his stats are going to improve, simply because of the fact that Cook is going to carry the offense, but Rudolph should still put up strong numbers.

One of the biggest things holding Rudolph back is the fact that he doesn’t always make the catch. If he can work on locking down the big catches and advancing the chains, he suddenly jumps into a different conversation.

That conversation of course is the best wide receivers in football. He’s not far away from entering that conversation, but he’s going to have to show it on the field. He shouldn’t worry, he’ll have plenty of opportunities to get open on the field.
