8. Jehu Chesson – Michigan

The great thing about college football is that there are players that don’t have to put up big stats to attract scouts. Michigan wide receiver Jehu Chesson is one of those players that doesn’t wow with his stat line each game, but he makes an impact. While Michigan likes to run the ball first, they did a great job of finding Chesson in the end zone last season.

The wide receiver had nine touchdowns for the Wolverines and he should be a favorite in the red zone yet again this year. He’s a physical specimen with good size and that makes it tough for opponents to bring him down. In a way, having a balanced attack allows Chesson to get open and find open field when he gets the ball in his hands.

There’s a reason that scouts see him as one of the top receivers off the board in the draft next year. It’s safe to assume that he’s going to be doing what he can to improve his stock on the field this season. Thanks to strong recruiting classes, Michigan should be in contention to win the Big Ten this year.

Chesson needs to be a player that leads the charge on offense for them. When a ball comes his way, he needs to make the grab.
