South Carolina and Vanderbilt UNDER 42.5 points

The point spread opened with Vanderbilt as a 1.5-point favorite and, at that point, I would have given out the Commodores. Now, the line has moved to as many as 4.5 points in some areas, and the value is gone on the Vandy side. However, I absolutely love this under. Vandy’s defense is very, very real and, well, South Carolina’s offense is not. That is the center piece of this particular selection, but it isn’t as if the ‘Dores are famous for throwing the ball over the yard in the post-Jay Cutler era, and this smells like a 19-13 game to me. Stay away from the side in this one, but launch on to the total and root for a lot of action between the 20’s.

Oregon State and Minnesota UNDER 55.5 points

Oregon State’s offense is bad. In fact, Oregon State is just bad. The Beavers were largely inept on the offensive side of the field in 2015 and I see that continuing this year. In short, Minnesota is going to win this game going away, but this is a coaching staff that isn’t exactly known for an aerial assault, and the Golden Gophers should pull in the reins if the margin becomes large enough to cruise to victory. I can see the Big Ten team scoring 28-35 points here, but Oregon State isn’t cracking 20 in my opinion and that is all you need to get to the window.
