Winner 1: Wisconsin Badgers (Unranked to No. 10)

Not often do you see teams go from unranked to top 10, but that’s exactly what happened with the Badgers in week two. Wisconsin played against a tough No. 5 LSU team at Lambeau Field and came away with an upset victory, 16-14.

Sure, the Tigers’ offense outside of Leonard Fournette leaves plenty to be desired, but Wisconsin’s offense is not much better. Bart Houston is the first-year starter under center and Corey Clement is expected to have a breakout year in the backfield after missing most of 2015.

The Badgers had one of the best defenses in the nation last season, and that looks poised to carry over into 2016 following a stingy performance against Brandon Harris in the pass game. LSU’s veteran dual-threat threw for just 131 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions, looking utterly confused for much of the game.

It was also a shock to see Wisconsin’s run game out-rush Leonard Fournette and the Tigers, but that’s a main reason why the upset took place.

Wisconsin will have a couple of easy games — against Akron and Georgia State — before getting tested in week four against No. 12 Michigan State in East Lansing.
