No doubt the Miami Dolphins are searching for stability at the running back position. They attempted to sign C.J. Anderson as a restricted free agent but failed. They weren’t able to draft anybody of note.

Eventually they brought in veteran Arian Foster to team with Jay Ajayi and Kenyan Drake. It’s a group that might surprise in 2016 but it doesn’t have the feel of one rich in star power. Foster is in his 30s and far from the player he was four years ago. Ajayi has injury concerns and Drake is more of a specialty back.

No doubt head coach Adam Gase would be interested in finding a bell cow for his offense to feed. Dalvin Cook might be the most versatile in this class.

Though he’s not quite the imposing power back that Fournette is, he’s a significant presence as a receiver out of the backfield. It doesn’t take away from his running ability though as he can deliver strong carries where it takes more than one guy to tackle him. He proved in 2015 he can carry a team on his back. A creative play caller like Gase could do so much with his skill set.
. RB. Florida State. Dalvin Cook . 9. player. 59
