4. San Diego Chargers

Clemson. Mike Williams . 4. player. 13. If they can’t get their quarterback of the future, then the next best thing for the San Diego Chargers to do is find every which way possible to make sure Philip Rivers is successful. He will be 35 years old at the start of next season. That’s not into dangerous territory yet but it’s teetering on the edge. The best way for them to maximize the time he has left is surrounding him with weapons. They added Travis Benjamin and Hunter Henry this past off-season, but they could still use that bigger receiving threat on the outside. A Vincent Jackson-type.
Mike Williams doesn’t quite have the same height as V-Jax does, but he’s got enough and plenty of athleticism and jumping ability to go with it. Williams didn’t get a chance to show his stuff in 2015 because of a neck injury, but he’s back healthy and aiming to show people what they missed. Most will assume he’s a big body who can go up and get the football, but Williams also has a speed element to his game that allows him to stress defenses down the field. His arrival would give Rivers the most talented trio of receivers he’s ever had.
. WR
