Week 3 Schedule

Lutz Triples v Gano You Gonna Lose

Zachary Thompson faces a tough matchup as he faces Mike Dyce. Both teams enter 1-1, but Dyce has posted a league-high 42 fantasy points in the first two weeks compared to just 22 for Thompson. The early projections give Dyce the clear advantage making him a three-point favorite with Gano/Brown getting a decided advantage over McManus/Lutz.

Lin Elliot: Rot in hell v The Garo Yip-premians

While this matchup may look one-sided it actually is projected to be a dead-even 14-14 contest. Jim Cavan comes in 0-2 and will send his Aguayo/Prater tandem against the kicking prowess of Allen’s Boswell/Cairo duo.  Patrick Allen is atop the East with a 2-0 record and will look to continue to be the team to beat with his fast start.

Beckham With The Good Hair v May the Folk be with you

In a matchup of 1-1 teams, Adam Best will look to avoid another tough-luck loss as he faces  Matt Blake. Blake got a huge win last week behind Tucker and Folk, and will look to keep things rolling against “Beckham” the week. Best is currently give a two-point lead in the projection, and he’ll hope that Catanzaro doesn’t lose him another game with a missed XP.

The Big Gostkowski v Automatica Gramatica

Zachary Best takes on Josh Hill it another game that is projected to come down to the wire. All four kickers are projected to finish with seven points in this matchup, so it will come down to which kickers can outperform expectations. While both team’s enter 1-1, Best has a 31-27 advantage overall in combined scoring coming into Week 3.

Reach for the Bleach vs Team Frank

Mark Carman needs to come up with a name or at least explain Team Frank if he hopes to get this season turned around. He doesn’t have an easy path this week as he faces off with NFL guru Matt Verderame. Verderame is 2-0 coming into the matchup while Carman is 0-2, so it’s surprising that the ESPN projections actually have Carman as a one-point favorite to pull the upset.

Make sure to check back next week to see how these matchups in our kickers fantasy league play out and what kickers are able to vault their teams to victories while others can’t connect on enough to produce the ever-elusive “W.”
