4. Seattle Seahawks at New York Jets

This is going to be a very interesting game on a lot of fronts. New York is coming home after playing two games on the road, splitting them. The latter was a contest in Kansas City which saw Ryan Fitzpatrick throw six interceptions on the way to a 24-3 loss.

One has to imagine that the Jets can’t possibly play any worse. New York sits at 1-2 and needs to win this game to realisitcally stay in the playoff hunt, especially with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals – both road games – on tap. The Jets are welcoming in a Seattle team that while certainly good, has some major flaws of its own to deal with.

Chiefs among the issues facing the Seahawks is the healthy of quarterback Russell Wilson. Wilson says he will play on Sunday, albeit with a brace on his knee after spraining his MCL. Wilson has been forced to run for his life most of the season, mainly because the offensive line is a total disaster. Again a front that includes Sheldon Richardson, Muhammad Wilkerson and Leonard Williams, that’s bad news for Seattle.

Look for the Jets to hang in this one, and perhaps win it in front of the home fans.
