Michigan. Jabrill Peppers . 3. player. 35. Ken Whisenhunt was fired last season because it was felt the Tennessee Titans weren’t headed in the right direction. Suffice to say that decision doesn’t look all that good in hindsight. Marcus Mariota isn’t playing any better and the team is still losing. No time to reminisce about that decision though. They have to stay focused on the future and figuring out why they just can’t seem to get things going.

The Titans have built a solid defense but also one with limitations. Looking across their roster, it’s apparent almost right away that they have no star power. No perennial Pro Bowlers who lead by example with excellent play and leadership. That is what has been missing from this group. Until they’re able to rectify that lingering concern, they can’t hope to stop the dynamic offenses they’ll see in that division.

Michigan safety Jabrill Peppers might be one of those rare talents who can flip the script. He can play almost any position asked outside of the trenches. He has the size of a linebacker but the speed of a cornerback. This of course makes him the ideal safety. His instincts are already very good and improving as he gains experience. To top it off he’s also a dynamic punt returner. Put him in that secondary and things could change in a hurry.
. DB
