3-2. Previous: . Houston Texans. 18. team. 10. Recap: A lot went wrong for the first-place Houston Texans in the Twin Cities as they fell behind, 24-6, in the first half on the way to a lopsided loss. If you’re head coach Bill O’Brien, you have to be concerned about an offensive unit that gained only 87 yards and went 0-for-8 on third-down conversion attempts in the game’s first 30 minutes. Things didn’t get any better for quarterback Brock Osweiler by game’s end, who threw an interception for the fifth straight game and was limited to 19 completions on 42 pass attempts. The Texans totaled a mere 214 yards of offense as they dropped their second game in three weeks.
Next Week: The Texans host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football and to fare better than they have against this team throughout the series history. They’ve lost 23 of the 28 meetings between the franchises and even though they won at Indianapolis for the first time a year ago, they’ve dropped 3 straight home games to the Colts.

Playoff hopes: Houston remains in first place in the AFC South but they have not shown well against the top teams in the league to date. For the second time in three weeks they were manhandled on the road against a quality opponent, which doesn’t bode well if you make the playoffs. And both the Colts and Tennessee Titans won on Sunday (Jacksonville was off), tightening the division race.
