To start the year, it looked like Auburn might be in the final year of the Gus Malzahn era, but the head coach has turned things around. After an opening-week loss to Clemson and another a couple weeks later to Texas A&M, the Tigers have won four straight games.

On the other hand, Ole Miss might be the best 3-4 team in the country. Heck, it would be hard to argue to the contrary. The Rebels have not lost to an unranked team this year, dropping to Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State and LSU.

While four losses might seem back, the Rebels have made each one of those games, with the exception of LSU, interesting. In fact, Ole Miss nearly pulled off a massive upset against Alabama, but squandered a big lead and the same goes for its contest against Florida State to open the season.

Hosting Auburn might be a chance for redemption for the Rebels and the Tigers haven’t faced a quarterback as talented as Chad Kelly in conference play yet — they did play Deshaun Watson in non-conference action, and lost.

Kelly is going to be the major key for Ole Miss in this one if it’s going to pull off the upset against No. 15 Auburn at home.
