3. Jim Bob Cooter

Another offensive coordinator doing a fantastic job in the NFL is Jim Bob Cooter. He has fixed Matthew Stafford and has turned the massive amount of potential he has into a great NFL quarterback.

It would be tough for the Chicago Bears to land him for a couple reasons. First, the division rival Detroit Lions wouldn’t likely grant the team permission interview. Lastly, there’s a very real chance that first-year general manager Bob Quinn could choose to replace Jim Caldwell with him.

He has done a fantastic job designing an offense and that is someone the Bears need. He has one of the best names in the NFL and his personality would be perfect in Chicago. They need someone that can help the team put up points on the board.

If the Bears take a young quarterback to develop for a little bit behind Jay Cutler, he would be instrumental in development. Who knows if he might even have Cutler playing at a decent level for a while too.
