FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-November 5
High Salary SF
Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (8,800): I’m going to pass on LeBron in a potential blowout in Philly even though he’s coming off a huge game against Boston. Instead, the SF that I think has the most fantasy points-per-dollar potential at the top of the salary structure is the Spurs’ Kawhi Leonard. Last night, Kawhi and the Spurs avenged their only loss of the year as they went to Utah and knocked off the Jazz. Leonard led all forwards with 51.2 fantasy points on 29 points, 11 boards, four assists, a steal, and a block. Kwhi has three games over 50 fantasy points this season, and he should continue his strong start to the season as San Antonio comes home tonight for a tough but entertaining matchup against the Clippers.∗∗∗∗
Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (7,700): The Bulls lost last night to Derrick Rose and the Knicks, but Butler was still able to total 35 fantasy points on 26 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal. In every game he has played 30 minutes, Butler has produced at least 34 fantasy points. He contributes across the categories like Kawhi although he doesn’t have quite the ceiling that Leonard does on a nightly basis. The Bulls will look to bounce back tonight as they take on the Pacers who they blew the doors off when they faced them earlier this season.∗∗∗
Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,300): Wiggins has 25 points or more in three of the Timberwolves four games this season. The only reason his doesn’t cost more than this is that his non-scoring numbers have been extremely low leading to around 29 fantasy points in each of those contests. He can go off and produce a big night, but he’s been just a one-category producer so far this season.∗∗
Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (6,100): In contrast to Wiggins, Morris has been pouring it on in multiple categories and has been one of the best contributors from around 6K this season. He has at least 17 points and 29 fantasy points in four of his five games for Detroit and had a season-high 23 and 36.8 respectively on Wednesday in Brooklyn. Morris should continue to produce good numbers for as long as Reggie Jackson is sidelined and he plays a larger role in the offense. He brings nice potential into tonight’s matchup with the Nuggets. ∗∗∗∗
