Meanwhile, Los Angeles enters Saturday’s game after beating the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in overtime on Thursday. They have been playing better than expected without star goaltender Jonathan Quick. Jeff Zatkoff and Peter Budaj have been passable as goalies. However, they only have 23 goals (fourth fewest in the NHL). Los Angeles has allowed 32 goals, the ninth most in the league.
