Boise State picked up a much-needed win after their loss to Wyoming last week. The win keeps Boise State in a decent position for a possible re-entry into the Group of Five spot when it comes to the New Years six. There are some tough trips for the Broncos coming up, in two of the least three games for Boise State they’ll head to Hawaii and the Air Force Academy. While the Broncos will be favored, they’ve tripped up before in similar spots. As for the here and now, Boise State is safe.

Not a great weekend for Baylor, not a great weekend at all. From players, fans and coaching staff’s support for ousted head coach Art Briles, to the team laying an egg against a wounded TCU team. This was a nightmare of a weekend and things don’t get any easier for the Bears as they travel to Oklahoma this coming week. The Sooners are potent enough on offense to do as much damage as TCU did this past weekend. Maybe the Bears should be worried about what’s going on during the game and now stuff that they can’t control, like their former head coach.
