Oklahoma State battled back on the road against Kansas State over the weekend and remained in the thick of the Big 12 Title race. Chris Carson’s late touchdown with under two minutes left gave Oklahoma State 43-37 victory. Kansas State had a chance to upset the Cowboys but Oklahoma State intercepted QB Jesse Ertz’s pass in the end zone as time expired. Although Oklahoma State remains in the Big 12 race, their path to the title is a difficult one. Oklahoma State still has Texas Tech, TCU and Oklahoma at the end of the season. What they do in those three games will go a long way in deciding so much for the Cowboys.

USC, might be for real? Well, it seems like that as they’ve rattled off now five straight wins with their latest coming against Oregon this past weekend. Up next for the Trojans is a tough test as they travel to Washington to face the Huskies. If USC can win there, not only do they throw a monkey wrench into the race for the playoff but potentially the Pac-12 title race as well. If you had to give out an MVP for the second half of the USC season, it’s clear that Sam Darnold is the favorite. Against Oregon, Darnold scored two touchdowns and threw for over 300 yards in the victory.
