High Salary C

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (7,800): Drummond and the Pistons catch the Suns on the second night of a back-to-back and Tyson Chandler wasn’t able to play last night due to personal reasons. With Chandler’s availability unclear for tonight it could be a great chance for Drummond to dominate down low against Alex Len. Drummond has legitimate 20-20 potential and has at least 43 fantasy points in three of his last six games with four double-doubles over that span. Drummond is the only one of the top-dollar centers not playing the second night of a back-to-back and with a great matchup he’s the option I would target if I spent big at center.

Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (7,100): So far this season, no team in the NBA is allowing more fantasy points per game to opposing centers than the Philadelphia 76ers. As they try and slow down Myles Turner and the Pacers tonight, Philly will be even more short-handed than normal since Joel Embiid is resting and Jahlil Okafor is still on a minutes limitation. That should open up plenty of production for Turner who always has huge potential. However, he doesn’t come in with the best form since he has under 25 fantasy points in three of his last four. He hasn’t really gone off since his 64.5-fantasy-point opening night, but he couldn’t be more set up for success tonight.

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,400): If you don’t fell like Turner can step up and deliver, a safe option to go with is Marcin Gortat who has at least 29.5 fantasy points in each of his last five games and double-doubles in four of those contests. He doesn’t have the potential for explosion you get with Turner, but he is much more of a “sure-thing” to give you solid numbers tonight against Boston who is still without Al Horford.∗∗
